The National Research and Development Institute for Biological Sciences (INCDSB), represented by Mrs Manuela Sidoroff, took part in the 30th session of the Board of Governors of the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB). This centre provides a high quality scientific environment for advanced research and education, supporting the development of biotechnology products in over 60 member states.

We would also like to announce that ICGEB Director Dr Lawrence Banks will visit Romania in June 2024 for the conference "Biotechnology: Innovations and Impacts on Health, Climate Change, and Food Security-BioTeh". This event is organised by the Romanian Society of Bioengineering and Biotechnology in collaboration with INCDSB, an ICGEB affiliated centre.
