Biography

I joined the National Research and Development Institute for Biological Sciences in 2003, and since 2018 I am a Research Scientist Grade II in the Bioanalysis Centre. I have gained extensive experience in R&D activities, participating as project leader for 3 projects and team member in more than 35 projects in National and 3 European Programmes (FP6 and FP7). My expertise is focused in the field of analytical chemistry, with competences in method development and validation, especially chromatographic and spectrometric methods used in the analysis of active compounds in foods, beverages, plant extracts, biological tissues, etc.

Currently, I am a project director in Tinere Echipe, entitled "Analytical approach to understand the positive synergistic effects of melatonin on polyphenolic profile and antioxidant capacity".
