DANUBIUS-ERIC – al 32-lea Consorțiu European pentru Infrastructuri de Cercetare!

25 June 2025 marks the birth of a new ERIC - the 32nd European Consortium for Research Infrastructures!

The newest addition to the ERIC family is DANUBIUS-ERIC - the International Reference Organisation for DANUBIUS-RI, which functions as the International Centre for Advanced River-Sea Systems Science. It is also the first ERIC hosted by Romania.

DANUBIUS-ERIC is the result of more than 10 years of effort, in which the Romanian-European DANUBIUS-RI team has invested enormous time, energy and passion.

In a century marked by water crises and increasingly frequent extreme events, DANUBIUS-ERIC is a key investment in understanding and managing the complexities of river-sea systems - providing scientific solutions for a more resilient and sustainable future.
